Privacy Policy

As the responsible data processor, the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences GmbH, Matthias Corvinus-Straße 15, 3100 St. Pölten, datenschutz@fhstp.ac.at, takes the subject of data protection very seriously. The UAS therefore complies with the current national and European data protection regulations. Below, the St. Pölten UAS would like to briefly explain the most important aspects of the current data protection regulations.

Collection of Data and Purpose of Processing

The computer-assisted data processing takes place for the purpose of processing your request and for the establishment of further contact. This processing is based on your consent in terms of data protection laws. The St. Pölten UAS GmbH processes all personal data the subject provided to the institution by filling out the form.

The processing can be carried out through the provided contact addresses (e-mail address and contact form for generating a ticket in the OTRS ticketing system) and through provision of the requested information (fields marked with * are compulsory). Non-provision of the necessary data prevents the processing of your request.

Which Data Are Stored?

The University of Applied Sciences GmbH stores the data provided by you. This means your e-mail address in particular.

For How Long Are The Data Stored?

After the completion of your request, the data are subject to an anonymisation process. This means that all personal data are deleted and therefore cannot lead back to the data subject. The completion of the case is determined in agreement with the person concerned.

Withdrawal of Given Consent

Any consent given by signing may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. In case of withdrawal, all personal data traceable to you will be deleted. This precludes the further processing of your request. Please submit your withdrawal to the following address: datenschutz@fhstp.ac.at.

Data Recipient

The processed data are used by staff members and peers of the St. Pölten UAS.

Data Protection

All data are stored on servers that are operated with high security standards and are protected against misuse and access by unauthorised persons.

All data subjects have the following rights:

  • The right to access the respective personal data
  • The right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing
  • The right of data portability

All participants can make use of these rights by responding to the responsible data protection officer at datenschutz@fhstp.ac.at.

  • The right to lodge a complaint

All participants also have the right to file a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority at the Austrian data security association at Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Wien, telephone: +431 52 152 0, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at
